Alumina Ceramic Nozzle Insulating Sleeve | Wear & Heat Resistant Ceramic Spacer for Welding and Spray Guns

This stepped ceramic sleeve sits between the nozzle and the gun body and does three jobs at once: it blocks heat from reaching the gun body, it isolates the nozzle electrically, and its wear-resistant alumina surface keeps the nozzle positioned even after thousands of hours of abrasive flow.

Because every welding, plasma or spray gun has its own geometry, we machine each sleeve to the customer's drawing. Step diameters, concentricity and face distances are all ground, so the sleeve drops into the existing assembly without reworking the metal parts.

Key properties: thermal barrier plus electrical isolation plus wear-resistant positioning in one part; ground steps and concentricity to +/-0.01 mm for drop-in fit; 99% Al2O3 withstands continuous nozzle temperatures without softening; hardness around 1500 HV resists abrasive media and arcing erosion; no tooling cost because parts are machined directly from sintered blanks.

Typical applications: welding and plasma gun nozzle insulation, spray and coating gun ceramic spacers, automated dispensing and welding stations, thermal spray equipment, and any gun-type assembly that needs heat and voltage isolation at the same time.

Custom manufacturing: send your existing metal spacer drawing or a used part and we will reproduce it in alumina ceramic, usually with improved concentricity. Prototypes from 1 piece, 7-15 days. ISO 9001 certified, RoHS 2.0 compliant.

Alumina Ceramic Nozzle Insulating Sleeve | Wear & Heat Resistant Spacer

Custom non-standard alumina (Al2O3) ceramic part · CNC precision machining · OEM / ODM · Hero Ceramic by Haorui Industrial

Product Overview

This stepped ceramic sleeve sits between the nozzle and the gun body and does three jobs at once: it blocks heat from reaching the gun body, it isolates the nozzle electrically, and its wear-resistant alumina surface keeps the nozzle positioned even after thousands of hours of abrasive flow.

Because every gun has its own geometry, we machine each sleeve to the customer's drawing — step diameters, concentricity and face distances are all ground, so the sleeve drops into the existing assembly without reworking the metal parts.

Custom Machining (OEM / ODM)

Haorui Industrial has machined non-standard advanced ceramics since 2006 (ISO 9001). Send us a 2D drawing (PDF/DWG) or a sample: we quote with tolerance and material recommendation, produce 1–10 piece prototypes in 7–15 days, and keep the process data for repeat batches. Materials available: 95% / 99% / 99.5% Al2O3, ZrO2, Si3N4, SiC, AlN, macor.

FAQ

Can you match my existing metal spacer's dimensions?

Yes — send the drawing or the used part, we measure and reproduce it in alumina ceramic, usually with improved concentricity.

Will the ceramic crack from thermal cycling?

Alumina handles repeated nozzle heating cycles well; cracking usually comes from mechanical over-clamping, which we help you avoid with correct fit tolerances.

What is the typical lifetime versus PTFE or bakelite spacers?

In hot or abrasive service, alumina typically lasts many times longer because it neither melts, carbonises nor wears round.

Certifications & Trade Shows

Quality you can verify: Haorui Industrial operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system (scope: precision mechanical ceramics parts), and our alumina and zirconia ceramics are RoHS 2.0 compliant — tested per IEC 62321 by an accredited third-party laboratory. We exhibit every year at CIOE (China International Optoelectronic Exposition) and semiconductor industry expositions in Shenzhen — visit our booth to see the parts in person.
